Slovak PM Peter Pellegrini to pay his first visit to Kazakhstan
The visit is to be first in the history of cooperation between the two states at the level of the heads of government.
Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini is to pay an official visit to Astana on November 14-16. Aibek Smadiyarov, the head of a press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, told during a briefing, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
It is the first visit in the history of cooperation between the two states at the level of the heads of government.
"Meetings with the President of Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister, as well as the holding of a Kazakh-Slovak business forum are scheduled as part of the visit. Of note, Slovakia considers Kazakhstan as a dynamically developing country and an important partner. Bratislava demonstrates sustainable interests in developing mutually beneficial trade and economic and investment interaction," said Aibek Smadiyarov.
According to the Kazakh Minister of Finance, the bilateral trade turnover has reached USD 33.5 million in the period from this January to August.
