South Korean outpatient clinic opened in Almaty

The best Korean specialists in 13 directions will take Kazakhstan patients. The method of treatment in the clinic is based on Korean and Singaporean technologies.

The advanced medical center was opened in Almaty together with South Korea. The project was implemented due to foreign investments, BNews.kz reports.

South Korean outpatient polyclinic was established in Almaty. This is the first medical institution on the territory of Central Asia, which is fully implemented at the expense of foreign investment.

In the clinic, effective operating systems and advanced diagnostic technologies from Korea have been adapted. In addition, technology is being adopted from Singapore.

The treatment methodic is based on Korean and Singaporean technologies. The best Korean specialists in 13 directions will take Kazakhstan patients. The institution is equipped with x-ray apparatus, ultra-modern ultrasonic scanners manufactured by General Electric Co., a highly qualified ECG apparatus, an ENT workstation, Aklides and other equipment.

BIOiNFRA biological company under Seol National University will carry out technical assistance for cancer screening diagnostics’ process.

For the purpose of research genetic and infectious diseases, based on molecular diagnostics One BioMed Pte Ltd will be a technical partner.

In addition, the clinic will attract investments from the Seegene Medical Foundation, which is one of the leading laboratories in Korea and will work to establish a centralized laboratory network in Kazakhstan.

MPKQAZ seeks to create a group of medical companies in Kazakhstan, the operational management of which will be carried out by Korean medical specialists. The polyclinic will not only provide systemic and convenient patient care, but will also establish a thorough quality control system implemented by Korean doctors.

MPKQAZ Director General professor Galymzhan Togizbaev noted that the clinic is an example of the subject cooperation of Kazakhstan and Korea, the so-called blood mix. After 5 years, Medical Partners Korea Medical Center Qazaqstan plans to join the Korean Association of Stock Market Participants (KOSDAQ) as the first foreign medical clinic from Kazakhstan.
