Soyuz MS-12 craft’s liftoff from Baikonur to take place in March
Liftoff of the manned transport craft is the first in a series of the four planned launches.
It is scheduled to launch four manned transport crafts to the International Space Station from Baikonur Cosmodrome in 2019, BNews.kz correspondent reports citing INA Kazinform.
Under the plan, liftoff of the Soyuz MS-12 manned transport craft with an international crew on board gives a start to a series of launches.
The craft’s main crew includes Russian Aleksey Ovechinin and American Nick Hague, as the October 2018 launch to the ISS including them on board failed because of the Soyuz-FG’s malfunction, and American Cristina Koch, according to a source at the Russian rocket and space industry.
The Soyuz MS-12’s crew members will arrive in Baikonur Cosmodrome late this February.
