Kazakhstan President starts paper manufacturing plant of household and sanitary and hygienic purpose
The president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has started plant on production of paper of household and sanitary and hygienic purpose "Ipek Kagit Central Asia" during a teleconference in Astana, BNews.kz reports.
The plant is in the special economic zone "Astana — the New City", the enterprise is started with participation of the Turkish investors of IpekKagit. The sum of investments - 3.4 billion tenge. Power of object makes 16,400 tons of production a year. At plant paper towels, napkins and toilet paper are made.
As the head of the company has noted, Kazakhstan has the best investment climate in Central Asia.
"Thanks to it the plant in Astana on release of qualitative, environmentally friendly paper production is successfully constructed. In a year we will turn out products for the sum over 11 billion tenge. The company will increase export to Russia, and also neighboring countries, at the same time will keep leader positions in Central Asia. For us all conditions for business are created," the head of Ipek Kagit Central Asia said.
