Supply of the Russian oil to Uzbekistan was begun through Kazakhstan
Until the end of the year along this route about 80 thousand tons of raw materials are planned to transport.
On delivery and acceptance point of border of Russia with Kazakhstan in the system of the main oil pipelines of JSC KazTransOil the first consignment of the Russian oil intended for further transit across the territory of RK to Uzbekistan is accepted. The press service of petrotransport company reported, BNews.kz said.
According to the framework agreement of September 16, 2017 between the governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan about some questions of cooperation in the sphere of power supply of the Russian oil on the system of the main oil pipelines of JSC KazTransOil along a route Omsk – Pavlodar – Shymkent – the oil platform Shagyr is begun (filling in railway tanks).
"The beginning of transit of the Russian oil in the direction of Uzbekistan is an important event for Kazakhstan regarding increase in appeal of transit capacity of the country. Technically we were ready to transportation of additional volumes of oil long ago. Oil will be transported to the oil platform Shagyr where it will be poured in railway tanks and further to be transported by rail to Uzbekistan," the CEO of JSC KazTransOil noted Dimash Dosanov.
According to the schedule of supply of oil, in November the volume of transit will be 30 thousand tons. Until the end of the year along this route about 80 thousand tons of raw materials are planned to transport.
