The first batch of Kazakhstan’s flour exported to the UAE

800 tons of flour produced in Kazakhstan were exported to the UAE.

Governor of Akmola region Malik Murzalin met with the leadership of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Dubai and discussed the delivery of Akmola flour to the UAE, correspondent reports.

“The first Kazakhstan commercial batch of flour of 800 tons, of which, 640 tons of the first sort and the highest sort of 160 tons, in March, 2018, INTER TRADE LLP delivered. The company established in 1999 in Atbasar of Akmola region,” Advisor to the Governor of Amkola region on tourism affairs Marat Igali said.

He noted that the region has 12 mills that grind more than 1200 tons of flour per day. Igali underlined that the supplier company tried to enter the market of the UAE since 2016.

At the same time, the Arab side underlined the high quality of flour produced in Akmola region, as well as its environmental friendliness and cleanliness. Flour produced in Akmola region corresponds to Standard 26574-85 and Standard ISO 9001-2009.

“According to the talks, the sides agreed to further develop cooperation. Kazakhstan’s flour will be exported to the UAE by several grain companies of Akmola region,” he said.

During the visit, Malik Mursalin also discussed with the leadership of DubaiInvestmentsPark the creation of an investment park in Akmola region. Igali underlined that the absence of taxation in Dubai made the business very profitable here, therefore far-sighted entrepreneurs managed to get facilities not only for offices, but also for warehouses and industrial facilities in perspective of EXPO-2020.
