Three crew members who were sent to the station and did research in the International Space Station landed in Kazakhstan.

“Expedition 53 Commander Randy Bresnik of NASA, Flight Engineers Paolo Nespoli of ESA (European Space Agency) and Sergey Ryazanskiy of Roscosmos landed at 3:37 a.m. EST (2:37 p.m. Kazakhstan time) southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan,” euronews reports.

At the time of their landing, the weather was 10 degrees Fahrenheit, and the chilly wind.

“Together, the Expedition 53 crew members contributed to hundreds of experiments in biology, biotechnology, as well as Earth and other physical sciences aboard the orbiting laboratory,” says the message.

The U.S. segment on the International Space Station was increased in the number of members by one, which facilitated NASA to spent more time on doing research on the station.
