Turkish company is keen on Kazakhstan’s gold field

In June of the 2017year Tau-Ken Samruk JSC has announced the alienation of subsoil use rights for the exploration of gold-bearing ore at the South-Moyintinsky area in the Karaganda region.

Turkish investors are interested in buying out of a 100% stake in the goldfield in the South-Moyintinsky area in Karaganda region, BNews.kz reports with reference to the press service of the company.

Tau-Ken Samruk attracts strategic investors to realize operating projects for the extraction and processing of polymetallic ores from the Alaigyr deposit and gold prospecting at the South-Moyintinsky area (SMP) in the Karaganda region.  

It should be noted representatives of Tau-Ken Samruk signed a memo on mutual understanding with Turkish company Lidya Madencilik within the visit of the Kazakh Leader to Turkey. It is referred to The sale of 100% of the SMP goldfield.

Following the announcement about the SMP’s field sale the only company interested in it. Thus, the leadership of Tau-Ken Samruk and Lidya Madencilik agreed on terms of cooperation. The investor is interested in buying a 100% stake of SMP’s field. The Turkish company has sufficient experience in the development of gold deposits in Turkey.
