Up to 8 thousand Astana's doctors to be trained in Kazakhstan's and world-leading clinics
For the first time ever, nurses passed management training programmes in the school of medicine of Nazarbayev University
It is planned to train up to 8 thousand medical workers both within the country and beyond it in leading clinics of Israel, South Korea, Russia, Finland and Canada, a website of Astana's Mayor's Office reports.

Presently cooperation with the best international clinics in continuous training of doctors on birthing, emergency services, surgery, healthcare management is being considered.
As a result of the upskilling works held in the country two unique surgeries are introduced - 'Bone blocking plate osteosynthesis of fractures to the acetabulum posterior' and 'Minimally invasive osteosynthesis of pelvis fractures anterior'. With the aim to apply new technologies, it is planned to train up to 70 medical workers by the end of the year.
Also, in Astana, they intend to train healthcare managers on issues relating to the development of corporative management, the introduction of high diagnostics and treatment technologies, to teach Medical English.
