Up to KZT67bn to be spent for construction new metro stations in Almaty
It is planned that the facilities will have been commissioned by 2021.
More than 67 billion tenges were allocated to construct two new metro lines in Almaty. It was said by Director of the Technical Department of Major Construction Service of State-owned Enterprise Metropoliten Maksat Seitkulov, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"The construction of the Metro continues. The construction of the second launching complex of the Saryarka and Dostyk stations is being conducted. Its cost following the calculations is more than 67 billion tenges," said Seitkulov.
Director of the Industrial and Technical Department of JSC Almatymetrokurylys Zhamilya Arisova outlined that the sum covers not only the construction, but also design, architect's and technical supervision.
"More than 67 billion tenges of budgetary funds have already been allocated. The sum includes design, architect's and technical supervision and the construction of the metro lines. As of today, since 2015, 25 billion tenges have been allocated. 9.5 billion tenges are allocated for 2018, of which 5 billion tenges are already spent. The facilities are planned to be commissioned in 2021," said Arisova.
