"Almaty - is the only city in Central Asia in which the US Consulate is based, as well as a representative office of the US Trade Chamber, dealing with US companies interested in opening a business in Kazakhstan. I visited the city in 2014 and 2008. This is the city that I want to return again and again, and I am very glad that I work here. I can observe great changes taken place in Almaty, infrastructure for pedestrians improves, public spaces become more open," said Erik Mayer.
Note that in Almaty 168 companies with the participation of the US capital in telecommunications, finances, trade and so on operate. The trade turnover between Almaty and the USA reached more than 400 million dollars over the last year.
