Your medal enters the record of the country’s Paralympic sport– the NOC’s head addressing to Kolyadin
The head of the National Olympic Committee noted that the gold medal became historic for Kazakhstan.
President of the National Olympic Committee Timur Kulibayev congratulated skier Aleksandr Kolyadin on a gold medal won at the Paralympic Games in South Korea, the press service of the NOC of Kazakhstan reports.
“Dear Aleksandr! On behalf of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan and the entire sports community of our country congratulate You on the victory in the XII Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang. Your golden medal became historic for independent Kazakhstan and enters the record of the Paralympic Sport of our country. For all compatriots You became a bright example of fortitude, brave work and aspiration to the goal. Your victory inspires all us! We sincerely congratulate You, coaching staff and the Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan on the achievement. I wish You strong health, success and further victories!,” Kulibayev said addressing to the athlete.
The head of the NOC of Kazakhstan also noted that the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees have signed a new long-term agreement on cooperation in PyeongChang.
“That is the step that confirms the course of the two organizations towards joint activity on promoting ideals and principles of the sport. The NOC of Kazakhstan supports the Paralympic movement in our country and all initiatives that focus on the development of the sport,” Kulibayev said.
